VOX Effect(s)?

Okay, so, hey guys. I'm a silent member of the forum but I visit often.
Compared to the talent you guys have, I'm a newbie.

Anyways, I was just wondering..
How does Habib give his voice that special effect? I hope you guys understand what I'm taking about. You know, the effect that can even make a bad singer sound good?

Does he use a filter [i.e. Filter(s) found in DJ Software(s)] ? Does he edit his vocal(s) manually using some sort of software? What is it that he does?

Let me know if you guys know a way to do it.

Oh, and, if any rapper is viewing this thread.
I've the problem that, my voice sounds different when I record it. And, well, I don't like it. It's a deep, dull, retarded voice. Any ideas?
Also, what do I do for vocal improvements on rapping? I've a decent accent, nothing fancy. And how do I make myself sound more emotive? You get the idea, right?

Help a brother out. Pretty please?

Found some tutorials on the forum on recording/rapping that I didn't notice before. Quite helpful, I must say.

Still looking for advices on the above though.

Try antares auto tuner

enhancing voice: just spit from the heart. that's the best advice i can give you. listen to the instrumental for a couple of times, get the vibe of it and set the level of emotion accordingly. then spit.

another thing, if you're a teenager (14,15 or something like that), it's pretty obvious that you'll sound wack lol. in such a case you just have to wait till you get a little older heh.

habib's effect: i dunno much about this, but yeah you can try the software "antares auto tuner".
