We Deeply Mourn
Shaq's mother (name not disclosed due to personal reasons) passed away on the morning of 24th April 2008 due a heart attack. We express our most profound grief and sorrow at the irreplaceable loss in her death. We hope you will pray for her departed soul.
Mc Shaq has also asked that if anybody was misunderstood, hurt by any means, to please accept his apology.

My sincerest condolences go out to MC Shaq and his family.

I unfortunately can somewhat empathize his pain, as I lost my father 5 years ago at the age of 16.

I know that Shaq, already a strong person in his own right, will become stronger as a result of this test provided to him by Allah SWT.
