i've dealt with MORE THAN ENOUGH arrogant wannabe artists like you who pretends they want REAL criticisms but in actuality just wants a pat in the back saying, "great job son, you'll do better in future!". Please tell that in future, but guess what? No one really cared about commenting on your songs in the first place (which proves my point).

Correction: I am no a wannabe artist, nor do I ever want to be one. I do this because I think its fun, and I want to stay connected with fellow Bengalis. It's one thing to criticize, but it's a whole another thing to say I need to "listen to more hip hop."

btw, "listening to more hiphop" is a very regular criticism i give. it's one thing hearing and another thing to truly listen and try to incorporate flows, style, swag, element, etc. from ur favorite songs.

definitely loose the autotune... and yes u do need to listen to more hip hop... i ain sayin u dont listen to hip hop... bt listening to hip hop and learning from listening to it are different things... u may have listened to hip hop all ur lyf bt ur track shows u obviously havnt been paying attention...

Yeah, sorry, I should have clarified, I do this for fun. I mean i'm not trying to become an artist or anything, but still I'm trying to get better at my hobby, like I said I just started. But yeah, truly listening to hip hop...I'm gonna try that. I used to sing for a rock band for a short period of time, but its a completely different genre of music. Those who say "rappers have no talent" are so wrong. I find rapping to be so so much more difficult than singing. With singing, I'm able to have a better flow and stuff, but with rapping? It's like a foreign language to me. Sorry about being hostile earlier, I thought you were just trying to insult me, my bad

No insult taken. I've been on DR for not that long of a time. I've also started recording recently, without any recording experience before, so I expect my initial songs to be sloppy and bad. I post them on here only to get constructive feedback.

Though I noticed, on DR, a lot of the people who are considered "good", are either posers or don't rap/sing about original and creative content.

I'm not going for being "hardcore" or "gangster" or any of that nonsense. I grew up in nyc/jersey city, and for me that's not the style I'm going for. I'm going for more upbeat, comical, funny stuff. People say music is an art, but so is comedy.

fiq bro...just being lazy as always haha. it's like...i've stopped tasting the ice cream since i realized it's too sweet (in a bad way) for me and that i can't quite afford it both time/money wise....but i can still smell the flavor and can't get it out of my system.
