and also..i believe almost everyone who knows how to use internet knows about torrents i know a lot of ppl here who even got softwares that i can't afford from usa.

Sonar is the best thing for producing. other than that you can use Pro Tools, Reason n some other softwares I cant remember right now. however it varies from person to person. about the torrent thingy, is it not possible to download via torrent from USA? :p

btw AK, I guess FL is a must for beginners. I even started using FL, currenlty using Reason n Sonar along with a Yamaha PSR E413 keyboard.

fl studio is for beginners bro ...it might be in the top 5, but the pro peeps don't use this software, fl studio is fun n easy to use, whilst also acting as a really productive software, but u can't hang onto it for long bro, u gotta move on to the real softs lyk sonar or reason, u getting me ?

i saw signed producers (on youtube and stuff) who still use FL studio as the DAW interface but they got thousand dollar mixers and hardware to suppport FL...and use it rather as an overall vsti instead of channeling the music thru fl primarily.
