well i voted for ENL ...lol..

Well we sat down wid our directors...n we all thought that names such
as STOIC BLISS, BLAZIN ANNEX, etc are not names dat can state where one
is based (no offense)



but the word "DESHI" allows anyone to kno dat we reppin da SOUTH EAST
witout hearin our shit?!? and plus from a marketing prospective the
name is more attractive?

and infmous all da showz we done so far was done by da banner "DESHI MC'S"



and i was interviewed on RADIO FOOTI 98.4 n they also liked da name so yeh lol?

and for now, your marketing directors are right...

but then when the INFLUX of deshi rhyme comes in...which is INEVITABLE...you guys won't be able to represent "deshi" mcs...in its entirety...because there will be so many of them...

then you wil have to rebrand, and chances are homes...your gonna go down u nder in the process...

if u stick with ENL, there's already an established fan base...you can brand it with the whole "speakers of the truth" tag...and ther's no need to refurbish your name once the influx of bengali mcs come in...

lol; jeah i knowz ery1 be emotionally attached ta that name ENL; i actually put that name during tha time me and X were workin on tha album b4 tha entire ENL crew(skib and mugs)got in. However, tha last decision was up2 our marketing producer and tha sponsers; ofcourse they are highly qualified ta know wats good or bad fo' they bidness; and tha name Desi MC's can actually trigger wide audience! And a good crew name dont make good rappers; a good bunch of rappers dont need a cool crew name ta shine in tha game; its talents not names! So it dont make any difference at all infact look av Panjabi MC's; them homiz doin collaboz wiv Western rappers which makes perfect sense that its not crew name rather talents! Hope y'all get this fact right...1

I'd say ENL all da way! Remember one thing, people who's doing this producing and sponsering is looking out for themselves. If you stick with them and their decision then niggas gonna get shelfed up, because they gonna use your fame to make commercial songs, and then the name dies out after a year or two, you dont wanna do that, you wanna be famous and leave a real mark behind so the world sees it. Look what happened with stoic bliss, after it went international, where is it at now? whats gonna happen after deshi crew mc's drop one album, and then the next, and with the same producers, they might just wanna keep it commercialized because thats where the money is, and they're investing in you, so in return what might they want most, money and name. They wouldn't care for ya. Next thing you know is that, now they gave another bengali ni**a or a deshi ni**a from india or pakistan or srilanka, a better deal because they can be better at commercial or they're younger and has more ideas about the present and all that. I know you and the brothers is smart and can def make ya mark in history, just be wise.
