My Immortal (Cover)

This track is actually a little over an year old and one of the only surviving records from ye olde tymes. A lot changed since then, including the facts that I had quit singing and that my voice 'evolved', so yeah.

But anyway here goes:

oh abt ur track...chill and nice! i dont wanna be too technical or watever but it was good and soothing. u hit the higher notes nicely though..so i wish u kept ur singing..u cud've sung a bit more openly but it's rlly nice.i'm gona download it for my iPod hehe

Actually, it was recorded right after my 14th birthday. =P
And also, I don't think I'll be singing again. Medical issues, stresses my vocal chords and ends up in making me not being able to talk for a while.

Not necessarily D sus minor or in any other form of augmented or diminished chords, but anything other than C Major, that is, neither the commonest nor the most perfect harmony.
And if the technical parts are in terms of musical theory, then you could go ahead; but softwares, I fail.

waoh! sumone in this site knows their music theory! hehe. no it was technical in both ways but i'm tired rite now to even think lol. lol it makes sense...me on the other hand is all abt simple major chords (c and g and their progressions on each octaves) and also their inversions lol. as much as i love augmented minors..i'm too lazy to get them under mybelt.

Weird chords were my specialty. =D I'd use a Dm/5+/7M chord with 2nd minor while descending or something similar. Never was able to do anything straight. Damn, I loved scaring the guitarists who'd simply go as far as pentatonic scales were concerned. =P [no offense meant]
Inversions were fun things, as far as I remember.

MADD HOTT vocal work.I felt,the pitch was perfect and you can hit high notes pretty well.The track was filled with emotions and for once,i thought im listening to Amy Lee!Anyway,good stuff.I think you should recommence singing because the voice is god-gifted and thus,u should utilize ur talent =)

Once again, thanks everyone. I didn't think anyone could listen to it all without their ears bleeding even by a little bit. There are places where the voice went off key, you've _got_ to agree on that.

Thank you very much for bothering to listen to it even after all the trouble in the first place, and then thanks again for liking it! I doubt it falls under the rank that you mentioned; there are some very talented artists around here. And hey, it's just a mere _cover_.
Yes, I did stop working on music now. I do write at times though - lost my rhyming skills (not that I ever had any), so moved on to a more conceptual/metaphoric text type as opposed to verses or poetry/lyrics.
(Now that I just read what I had typed, I wonder how much crap I utter.)
